Santa on the Green

Location: Gazebo Green

This event takes place on the Gazebo Green where Santa will arrive via fire engine! Line tickets will be handed out starting at 8 a.m. When given a ticket, you will be given a time estimate as to when your child will see Santa and Mrs. Claus. This allows you to avoid standing in a long, cold line and to shop, dine, stay warm, and enjoy Hudson while waiting instead. The event officially starts at 9 a.m.

Snowflake & Sugar Plums in the Land of Sweets

Get your sweet tooth ready as we invite you to join us in the Land of Sweets. The Solon Center for the Art Dance Ensemble and Junior Holiday Dance Ensemble will be performing a nontraditional version of the Nutcracker Act II, Snowflakes & Sugar Plums in the Land of Sweets. This seasonal show will surely get you in the holiday spirit with a variety of music and beautiful dances by snowflakes, hot chocolate and the timeless Waltz of the Flowers. This even is perfect for the entire family to enjoy.

What are you doing over break? Why not spend a day or two with us? We’ll play at the center, watch movies, rock climb and go on field trips. Participants should come dressed to play in tennis shoes and socks. A small afternoon snack will be provided. Register for each day separately.

This year, our "Candy Land" theme will transform the Solon Community Center into Candy Land! Feel free to dress in your favorite pretty party outfit or formal gown. Which ever you like, formal, fancy or comfy, it’s all cool! This dance is for girls in Kindergarten through 4th grade ONLY and their daddies! Each girl will receive a party favor and refreshments will be available. Register at the Solon Community Center beginning December 1.
